We’ve seen residential development undergo many changes over our more than five decades performing site planning and design. Early neighborhood designs simply converted open land into relatively large lots on long, straight streets. Much has changed in the past ten years, with each residential development offering unique amenities that must be included in the initial site planning and design. And, as land in the region has become more scarce and costly, the need for in-fill development has created a demand for engineering innovation to create sites suitable for new communities.
